The concept of Great North Business Centre was born out of the challenging task of finding suitable office spaces in Hatfield. Founder Richard wanted to bring together his small team of property part-timers, but the search proved extremely difficult. Eventually, Richard discovered the charming Grade II listed building, North Place.

Although it was too big for his immediate needs, he decided to dream big and plan ahead. After refurbishing and fitting out the building, Great North Business Centre opened in February 2015, aiming to provide an easier, cost-effective, and supportive solution for other start-ups and micro businesses.
